I'm an artist, designer, photographer...
~ My passion is in capturing real emotions that define the moments of our lives.
~ I love nature and romantic outdoor weddings that feature vintage & rustic decor.
~ I love families that are laid back and comfortable just being themselves.
~ I love children and their natural curiosity.
~ I love finding unique ways in which to display your memories in your home, as well as preserve your images for generations.
~ I love the elegance of letterpress and the possibilities of graphic design.
Where I studied:
~ I've been an independent artist my whole life...continually seeking growth and excellence in my skills.
~ I obtained a BFA in Interior Architecture & Design at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD), where I also studied Communication Design and Photography.
~ I'm a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and actively pursue workshops and courses to stay up to date with the ever changing world of digital photography.
~ And, I studied Letterpress design and printing at the Evanston Print & Paper shop.
What I like to do in my free time:
Travel, read, write, learn, explore, and spend time being with my family....
I seek out adventures that help me grow as a compassionate human being and artist.
I'm an avid reader and movie lover...anything that has to do with the human experience and inspirational stories of survival and success are right up my alley.
My children and my husband are the most important people in the world to me, and I feel blessed to have them in my life.
My dream (And, I'd love to hear yours, too!):
To create a center for the arts in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico where local children and young adults can learn to use their creative potential to help alleviate the stress of poverty in their lives, and to offer creative retreats for writers, photographers, artists, and their families.
